A visit to the Yorkshire Dales, noticing pathways, rocks and lines. The yellow/orange of the lichen always catches my eye. My first time using such a small square sketchbook opening up to a landscape format really worked for me this time. 3 small developments on cotton rag paper with thread and wire. The paper alone is almost enough.

Noticing the unnoticed. Almost like shadow along the pathway and subtle movement of wind in grasses. Somehow the space creates a presence.
